| Adam, who is British, was born in Tehran, Iran, but grew up and studied in England and taught English in Greece before moving to France in 1989. Originally a mathematics teacher, he decided to pursue a career in teaching English for professional purposes, translation, proofreading and editing because of the immense diversity of interests such work provides. |

Charlie is American, born in Denver, raised in northern Michigan (the UP as they say), with a Ph.D. in French from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he wrote a dissertation on how modern French poets, in particular André Breton and Francis Ponge created new means of acquiring knowledge in their poetic writing. He has been living in the Gard in the South of France for more than 10 years, and last year created "Charlie's PLACE", a center devoted to Poetry, Languages, Art, Culture and Exhibitions. |
